[He's been checking in on her periodically, and he knows he's staying longer and longer every time he comes. It says something to him, even if he's not sure he wants to listen. Right now, he's got a storm of thoughts crackling through his head - worrying about Stiles, about Lydia, about Dean, about everyone else who might have stayed a little too long and had their heads screwed with in return.
He likes to think wandering her room helps. It's the kind of normal he misses, simple and nice and just very Kira. That's kind of a comfort all on its own.
(He stayed too long. He had his head screwed with. He keeps seeing things in the corners of his eyes, dancing couples, waltzes on bones. He's trying to ignore it.)
He's not at her side when she opens her eyes. Instead, he's looking through the knicknacks and pictures on her dresser, before sitting down on the edge of her bed, his back half toward her.]
I don't know if you can hear me. [He ducks his head, mouth moving like he's laughing at himself for doing this. But it doesn't stop him.] But uh, I really wish you'd wake up.
