[Young 'Master' Kiro can be found in pretty much the same places that his alter ego Kira can; 'he' greatly enjoys strolling the deck, or engaging in keeping his weapon skills sharp in the enclosure. He partakes of food and drink in the dining hall as well as the pub when he's feeling raucous, and seeks serenity in the library or the greenhouse when in need of peace and quiet.]

[Her poor heart, twisted and crushed. And yet, she swallows it down, because she can't compromise her false identity, and cannot bear to see him unhappy.]

My dearest lord, I only but await
Thy whim. Seek not to trap thyself with words.

[She cannot help giving pause for a moment, tentatively adding,]

And yet, sweet lord, though I pause to mention
Your letters I have carried faithfully.
But distance may make absent hearts seem fond
When in truth it causes hearts to forget.
Your missives have been granted no reply.

[He has wondered before if maybe Kiro also loves Daneca, but he trusts their friendship: surely Kiro would have said something. So he doesn't know why his heart twists, only that Kiro is always here when he needs a guiding hand.

He nods vigorously, already thinking of the colors - her gloves spring to mind - the scents - her shampoo fills his nose - the flavors of longing that fill his mouth whenever he thinks of her--

But Kiro goes on, and though Scott is not one given to temper, he frowns.]

It is a long distance, sir, and I have
The use of a loyal courier and
Powerful ally's constant presence: she
Does not. The lady Daneca will not
Forget me in our time apart. Would
You have me mope and wail after a love
Out of reach forever? I must believe
That one sweet day, providence will bring us

[But his frown deepens, and his head dips.]

Our duties to our lands. She may
Return to fulfill duties here, but then

Worlds, and still live in our own?

[Shamefaced, 'Kiro' lowers her eyes.]

Holding hope that truest love is maintained.

[It breaks her heart, but for him, she'll do it.]

[He realizes the ways his words could be misunderstood and fumbles for clarity, cheeks reddening.]
